Kiraya
Kiraya
A long time ago, Japan used to be one of the leading producers of silver in the world. At that time, Japan developed an industrial culture of silver making use of Japan's unique techniques which outshines in delicate craftworks. Though as industry structures changed and resources dried up, Japan decreased its production of silver.
Kiraya's concept is to express the world of traditional Japanese designs through silver while explaining the various meanings of each design to pass down Japanese culture in simple words. Silver is a symbol of good luck and a protection against evil spirits. Out of all metals, it reflects light the fastest and if it is polished it even lets out a stronger shine than platinum. The beautiful white luster is also known as a symbol of the moon. There are many old sayings about silver around the world but every single one of them are related to "Happniess."
